Utah basketball signs former Utah Valley leader Jackson Holcombe

Holcombe, who prepped at Timpanogos High School, comes to Utah after spending the past three years at nearby Utah Valley. He redshirted his first season with the Wolverines before suiting up the last two seasons.
The 2026 Lou Hensen Award Finalist averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals for the Wolverines. He was named as a 2026 WAC All-Tournament Team member, First-Team All-WAC in the regular season, and was a WAC All-Defensive Team honoree.
Holcombe became the UVU single-season steals record holder with 75 swipes in 2025-26, which was good for 13th in NCAA.
The Charleston, South Carolina, native is set to join four other newcomers, including returning missionary and Layton High alum David Katoa.
Styles Clemmons, Zati Loubaki and return missionary Jaxon Johnson are also new for the 2026-27 season.
