Freshman forward Grace Kirby flew in front of goal to head a cross from Brynlee Meyerhoffer, which found the net in the 29th minute for the only goal of the contest.

Weber State took 17 shots with four on goal. NAU totaled 10 shots, with senior keeper Mekell Moss saving all four that were put on frame.

WSU improved to 2-9 for the season and 1-2 in Big Sky Conference play. The Wildcats next hit the road for contests at Sacramento State on Friday, Oct. 7, and at Portland State on Sunday, Oct. 9.
