Weber State volleyball gets back to win column in 3-1 win over Idaho State

Weber State volleyball improved to 5-1 at home and 2-1 in the Big Sky Conference with a 3-1 (26-28, 25-19, 25-23, 25-19) victory over Idaho State on Friday.
Falling behind 21-16 before a 7-1 rally gave WSU the lead, the Wildcats then dropped the first set in extra points, the team’s fourth straight lost set, as Idaho State (4-11, 0-3 Big Sky).
But WSU got back on track in the second set, ending on a 7-2 run to tally a set victory and go on to the win.
Kaylie Ray tied her WSU-best 18 kills to lead the Wildcats (10-5, 2-1). Ashley Gneiting had 16 kills and Rose Moore added 13 kills with three service aces.
Saane Munyer tallied 3.5 blocks and Moore added three.
Morgan Pratt passed 47 assists and Marly Pratt had 19 digs, with Jayda Tupea adding 15 digs.
Weber State remains at home in the coming week. The Wildcats host Eastern Washington (2-13, 0-3) on Thursday night before welcoming Idaho (4-11, 1-2) on Saturday afternoon.
