Kathleen Anne Sansone, formerly of Huntsville, Utah, age 83, completed her earthy journey on Tuesday July 1,2025. She was born July 6, 1941 in San Francisco Ca. to parents Thomas and Gloria Monahan. Kathy was the oldest of two children, Gary Monahan being her brother. She grew up in San Francisco and graduated from Tamalpais High School. After graduating High School Kathy worked for Bank of America in Larkspur Ca. where she met the love of her life Donald J Sansone. They married on November 10, 1962 and shared 63 blissful years together.

They started their marriage adventures in Orlando Florida for 6 years and welcomed their first of four children Anthony John Sansone in December of 1964. After moving to St. Louis Mo. she was blessed with her other three children Vincent Gary Sansone, and her twins Michael Scott and Michelle Ann. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom to her children until they went into Jr High and she worked as a school cafeterian. After the children went to high school Kathy went to work for the Internal Revenue Service where she worked for 17 years.

After retiring she and Don traveled to Italy, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Hawaii, Mexico, Sweden, and Spain. They moved to the retirement community in Mesquite Nevada to live the remainder of their golden years hosting family parties, creating cherished friendships with several in her community, and mom providing full-time loving care to her husband during his final years. After Donald passed in August 2024, she spent the next 10 months living life to the fullest, including visiting her loved ones that she hadn’t seen in many years.

She is survived by her brother Gary Monahan, four children, ten grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Kathy was proceeded in death by two grandchildren, Christopher Bachman and Alexander D Sansone.
