The full Northern Utah calendar of events is on L4, but here are three local events you should check out this week:

1. Ogden Raptors Fan Appreciation Night

Lindquist Field, Ogden, Sept. 6, 4 p.m.

The Standard-Examiner is proud to partner with the Ogden Raptors and the Brent Taylor Foundation for a night to remember. In addition to watching the beloved local pro baseball team wrap up the regular season, there will also be a pregame concert, a special military and first-responder tribute, a flag reassignment ceremony, and a post-game dance party. The fun will start in the afternoon and last all evening as everyone is sure to have a great time.

2. Peach Days

Brigham City, Sept. 6 

Utah is known for its delicious peaches and the orchards north of Ogden have some of the best. That’s why it’s appropriate to celebrate the delicious fruit in Brigham City. The event website says: “Brigham City Peach Days is a beloved annual celebration held in Brigham City, Utah. This delightful event has been a cherished tradition for over a century and is eagerly anticipated by locals and visitors alike. The festival takes place the weekend after Labor Day and serves as a vibrant tribute to the region’s agricultural heritage, particularly its delicious peaches.

“Peach Days is a time when the community comes together to celebrate the bountiful harvest of peaches, a fruit that has become synonymous with Brigham City. This festival offers a wide array of activities and attractions for all ages, making it a fantastic family-friendly event. 3. Electric Avenue:80s MTV Experience

Kenley Amphitheater, Layton, Sept. 12, 8-10 p.m.

If you remember the crazy hair and outfits that were the mainstays of 1980s music, you might want to head to Layton on Sept. 12. Here’s what you will find at Kenley Amphitheater, according the to the website: “The 80s are back! Relive the magic of New Wave and Radio Pop with Electric Avenue: The 80s MTV Experience. Every hit, every sound, and every feeling from your youth recreated live. Get ready to dance–this high-energy show will take you right back to the 80s!”
