Pop-ups and Pride punctuate June First Friday Art Stroll

Ogden Arts logoOGDEN — Pop-ups, cars and Pride are among the offerings at June’s edition of the First Friday Art Stroll in Ogden.
This week’s First Friday Art Stoll is set for Friday from 6-9 p.m.
According to a press release from Ogden City Arts, this week’s festivities include a handful of pop-up locations including:
• Music @ The Collective featuring Poeina from 6-7:15 p.m. and The Last Wild Buffalo from 7-9 p.m.;
• Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd will feature the art of Roberta Glidden.
The Monarch will also be taking time to celebrate Pride Month with its inaugural Pride Fair Event.
“The Monarch Ogden is so Excited to have our first Pride Fair Event to kick off Pride, a little pitstop in our neck of the woods here in Ogden,” the release said. “In conjunction with our Art Stroll. Come celebrate with live music, The Standards and Substandards at 6:00 and Fruity as Folk at 7:30! We are collaborating with Encircle, Ogden Pride, and PFlag to create an amazing community event.”
Meanwhile, the Mercantile will be celebrating the return of the coinciding Historic 25th Street Car Show.
“June Art Stroll is always a fun one, as it coincides with the Historic 25th Street Car Show, and our shop is surrounded by classic cars and car enthusiasts from all over the Wasatch Front,” the release said. “With that in mind, Erica Lyon’s installation ‘Ogden’s Backyard Playground’ is a series of watercolor creations highlighting iconic landscapes you might just take a scenic drive through in one of those classic cars! Large format originals, as well as a range of prints and merchandise, will be available.”
