The candidate filing deadline for the 2026 Utah House, Senate and school board races came and went Thursday, and there wasn’t a lack of highlights. Republican Trevor Lee in House District 16 covering Davis County will face a primary challenge from Bob Stevenson, current Davis County commissioner and former Layton mayor.
