Lightning causes short-lived fire at Antelope Island State Park over Independence Day holiday
ANTELOPE ISLAND STATE PARK — A small, lightning-triggered fire temporarily closed several trails at Antelope Island State Park on Friday evening. In a Facebook post Friday evening, the park noted that, due to fire activity, Bone Road, Gravel Pit Trail, Split Rock Loop, White Rock Loop, Elephant Head, Beacon Knob and Junction Trail were to be closed until at least the following day.
