Teenage boy dies in hospital after weekend rescue from Weber River

OGDEN — A 17-year-old boy died in the hospital over the weekend following a near-drowning in the Weber River on Saturday. According to Lt. Sean Endsley of the Weber County Sheriff's Office, a group of boys was shooting airsoft guns Saturday afternoon when two of them jumped into the river; however, only one of the boys resurfaced.
