Plain City native assumes command of US Navy precommissioning submarine
GROTON, CONN. — An Ogden-area native officially assumed command of a Block V Virginia-class submarine at a ceremony in Groton, Connecticut, earlier this month. Cmdr. Christian Olsen grew up in Plain City and looks back fondly upon his days attending Fremont High School, playing football, performing in the band and water skiing on Willard Bay.
