Glider crash, boating accident result in weekend deaths
Two tragic accidents occurred in the Ogden area over the weekend resulting in deaths. In the mountains east of Ogden on Friday, the Mountain Green Fire Protection District reported a glider crash that sparked a wildfire. "Bad day for our area firefighters," the district said in a post on its Facebook page. "A glider crashed into Mahogany Mountain above Bohmann Ranch in Mountain Green about 2pm yesterday, killing the pilot and sparking a fire at about 7,000 feet up."
