Art Box celebrates 5 years of business
Art Box is celebrating and saying thank you to their customers with an anniversary party on September 23 from 6-9 p.m., featuring live music by Eden’s Yellow Rose, games and prizes, food and beverages, and discounts in the store.
Art Box is a gift shop and the spot in Ogden to try your hand at candle making. There is something for everyone at Art Box, as a walk into the store greets you with an array of adorable gifts, from home decor to books and toys. Candle making is fun, creative, and great to do with others, so bring a whole group for a candle-making session. (And, you’ll leave with a new candle, which is always a plus!) Art Box has become a community staple and a visitor favorite in Ogden.
Art Box has organized a community art project called “Art on a Box,” where community members are invited to purchase a block, decorate and embellish it, and return it to Art Box by September 20. All proceeds from the art project go to Ogden Contemporary Arts. The blocks will be part of a permanent art installation in The Monarch Atrium, which will be unveiled during the anniversary party.
“We have so much to be grateful for, and we want to say ‘thank you’ to all of our faithful friends and customers, old and new. From our humble beginnings on lower Historic 25th Street, to our move to the magnificent Monarch, through COVID-19, street closures, and parking issues, you have been there right with us every step of the way and we want to celebrate YOU!” says the Art Box website.
