Hallmark Channel is bringing five new films to viewers during its Summer Nights series, with a different film premiering every Saturday in August.

Summer Nights, an annual programming event on Hallmark Channel, returns with five all-new feel-good movies. The new films premiere every Saturday night in August, making the last month of summer extra special and filled with plenty of Hallmark charm.

Last weekend, Autumn Reeser united with Aaron O’Connell in “Junebug,” a tale of adjusting life and the trajectory it is taking. Juniper (Reeser) wanted to be a writer, but as many people know, life sometimes gets in the way of dreams and takes us on a different path. Suddenly, an 8-year-old version of herself has Juniper confronting her old dreams. This younger Junebug is the impetus the adult Junebug needs to start writing again and doing what she really enjoys. With the help of artist Alex (O’Connell), she can finally get her life back on the track she had envisioned when she was young.

“My Dreams of You” premieres this Saturday with Skyler Samuels and Kapil Talwalkar in a story that defies the normal views of reality. Grace (Samuels) continually dreams about a stranger named Michael (Talwalkar). Why this man? And why are her dreams so specific? Well, it seems that the folks at Dream Central have made a little error. When Grace meets Michael in person and sees he is the man from her dreams, she is dismayed to realize he does not know who she is. Apparently, he has not been having the same dreams.

Wedding fever breaks out Aug. 17 in “A Costa Rican Wedding.” Rhiannon Fish and Christopher Russell co-star as frenemies when they both attend their friends’ wedding in the tropical setting of Costa Rica. Things get a little crazy for this maid of honor who must deal with everything, including her nemesis.

“The Magic of Lemon Drops” premieres Aug. 24. Lyndsy Fonseca is Lolly, whose aunt gives her three magical lemon drops. (If only we could get some of those for ourselves!) These candies let her experience what her life would have been like had she made different choices along the way. This is something many people often think about. But in this case, Lolly gets to really see how her life would have been had she made different choices and lived a different life.

And finally, “Head Over Heels” premieres Aug. 31, wrapping up the month with Rebecca Dalton and Olivier Renaud. Addison (Dalton) finally gets a big job in New York City at a high-end fashion footwear company. She is not a big-city gal but is determined not to show it. The big city can change a person’s values, but Addison will not let that happen to her. She will show everyone that she can maintain her values, be successful in a big-city job surrounded by all the glitz and also succeed in love. Can she really get it all?

Summer sizzles on Hallmark Channel. While viewers got their Christmas in July fix last month, August looks to be a hot time on the network. Grab your lemonade and settle in for some new summer stories.
