1. Korn Ferry Tour Utah Championship
Ogden Golf & Country Club, July 30-Aug. 2, all day
The best professional golf in northern Utah takes place at Ogden Golf and Country Club as the Korn Ferry Tour rolls into town. The event page says: “The Utah Championship, presented by Zions Bank & Intermountain Health, is one of the most storied events on the Korn Ferry Tour, the path to the PGA TOUR. Since its debut in 1990, the tournament has crowned a remarkable lineup of champions, including the inaugural winner John Daly, Masters champion Zach Johnson, and Charles Schwab Cup titleholder Steven Alker. The Utah Championship celebrates it’s 35th Anniversary this year.”

2. La Guelaguetza 2026
Heritage Park, Kaysville, July 25, noon-10 p.m.
Enjoy the festivities and the music of Oaxaca culture at this celebration. The organization website says: “The family-friendly celebration will share the living culture of Oaxaca through regional dance, traditional clothing, music, food, artisan work, and community activities. The program honors the spirit of guelaguetza: reciprocal giving, generosity, and belonging.”

3. Steep Canyon Rangers with Della Mae
Ogden Amphitheater, July 27, 7:30 p.m.
The event page says: “Steep Canyon Rangers return to Ogden with Della Mae for a midsummer evening of bluegrass at the Amphitheater. Two bands. Fiddles, banjos, mandolin. Harmonies tight enough to carry across an open field. You might know Steep Canyon Rangers as Steve Martin’s bluegrass band. That’s fair. They’ve shared stages with him at Carnegie Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits. They’ve backed him on albums featuring Paul McCartney and the Dixie Chicks. But spend five minutes with their own catalog and you’ll hear something deeper: a Grammy-winning band with 25 years of Appalachian grit, literary songwriting, and voices that trade lines like old friends finishing each other’s sentences.”
