Avril Lavigne suffers serious health issues, asks fans for prayers
Avril Lavigne shot to fame with her first album “Let Go” when she was 17 years old, and quickly became known as the “pop punk princess.”
With five albums under her belt Lavigne, 30, has even conquered acting roles in Hollywood but her absence for the last two years has had fans worried. She recently let one fan in on a painful secret via social media.
The fan wrote to Lavigne, “Hey Av! It’s been like two years since you completed your last album. Are you in the studio right now or working for something?… We’re worried about you.”
Lavigne tweeted back the truth about her health issue. “I feel bad because I haven’t been able to say anything to the fans to let them [know] why I’ve been absent,” she wrote. “I’m not feeling well. I’m having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers.”

Not being able to keep her fans in the loop has been a serious concern to Lavigne and it didn’t take long for fans to respond.
