After a challenging selection process, Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music (OFOAM) has announced this year’s ‘Tweeners Lineup for the Ogden Music Festival 2022.
“Word has spread to more people, so we received more applications and inquiries than ever before and the selection process is more competitive,” says festival co-director Reba Nissen. This year, OFOAM received 25 applications for its 11 ‘tweener spots.
A ‘tweener is a young acoustic musician who plays three to four songs each at the festival before the touring band takes the main stage. “The Utah music scene is on fire, and we are honored to have these skilled musicians, established and new, grace our stage,” states OFOAM on their social media pages.
This year’s lineup (in order of festival appearance) includes musicians from Logan to Salt Lake: Paddy Teglia, Highline Drifters, Mark Dee, Damien Midknight, Christian Scheller, Hank & Charlie Hansen, Michelle Moonshine, Jackie Rae Daniels, Mike Iverson, Wood Carver and Backyard Revival.
Lavender Vinyl on 25th Street has each ‘tweener with an available CD in stock at their store.

Nissen says OFOAM likes to “showcase young performers, celebrate diversity and provide the opportunity to as many artists as possible.”
Besides nationally recognized music on the main stage, the festival hosts artist workshops, jam sessions, instrument petting zoo, kids’ activities and on-site camping.
The main stage acts include nationally recognized, award-winning bands including Sam Bush, Amy Helm, The Travelin’ McCourys and The Grateful Ball, Brothers Comatose, Blind Boy Paxton, Stillhouse Junkies, and more. See the full lineup at ofoam.org.
The 14th Annual Ogden Music Festival will be held June 3-5 at Fort Buenaventura. Tickets are available at ofoam.org/ogden-music-festival.
