Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park is enveloped in golden accents and pixie dust as though it has been magically enchanted.

For many, a family trip to Disneyland defined family vacations. Reliving those memories are precious, and watching a child experiencing the excitement for the first time is priceless.

With family vacations getting more expensive every year, there are some ways to help with family finances, when the destination is Disneyland. There are several discounts currently available this year to make a family vacation a little easier on the budget.

For visits to the resort from May 22 through September 7, 2026, there is a special Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer. For ages 3-9, a kids 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket is $50 with a purchase of an adult 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket. 2-Day and 3-Day options are available for $100 and $150 respectively. Every ticket must be accompanied by a reservation for that specific day. And the multi-day tickets do not need to be used in consecutive days. They must, however, be used on or by September 7, 2026. Check with the Disneyland website for further details.

Families can save at the Disneyland Resort Hotel as well. For Sunday through Thursday nights until September 7, 2026, there are savings up to 15% at the Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, and the Villas at Disneyland Hotel. If you prefer to stay at the Pixar Place Hotel, there are savings up to 10%. The savings are based on non-discounted prices and have some restrictions, so check with the Disneyland Resort for more information at (844) 799-0604.

Besides these summer offers, Disneyland also offers specially priced tickets to active and retired US Military personnel who purchase their tickets at a participating US Military base.

We all know a trip to Disneyland includes not only the fun of the parks with the attractions, shows, food, and parades, but also merchandise. What’s a vacation without plenty of fun souvenirs and merch? Whether a light saber, a princess doll, a commemorative shirt, or something else, Disneyland offers free shipping on merchandise over $75 so guests don’t have to pay additional baggage fees when flying home.

For guests who want to enjoy the final days of the Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary celebration, they need to hurry because it comes to the end on August 9, 2026. However, the fun of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will continue long past the anniversary celebration.

Seventy years ago Walt Disney opened Disneyland with these words: “To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land.” While the prices have steadily risen, taking advantage of these specials are a welcome relief to parents who want their kids to enjoy the magic and wonder of the resort.

Starting at $4.32/week.
