Snowbasin Ski Resort is set to kick off its 2026 summer activities July 20-21, 2026, with the opening of a new bike park.

HUNTSVILLE — Summer’s here and the time is right to plan on visiting a ski resort.

In a press release this week, Snowbasin Ski Resort announced its summer offerings are set to kick off with old favorites and new attractions.

That summer will kick off with a Summer Kick Off & Mountain Bike Party Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. to celebrate the opening of the resort’s brand new bike park.

“Located off Littlecat Express, Snowbasin’s new lift-served bike park, created in partnership with SCOTT Sports, will debut on opening day at the resort with a special mountain-bike themed weekend to celebrate,” the release said. “The festivities will include a BBQ on the plaza, vendor pop-ups and various activations across Snowbasin. The new park will feature beginner-friendly trails with mellow terrain, berms, and wooden skill features, alongside intermediate and advanced flow trails with multiple tabletops and other features scattered throughout the course. The bike park is set to open with four trails with room to expand in future seasons. The park will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Thursdays from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.”

Brooks Roe, brand manager at Snowbasin Ski Resort, told the Standard-Examiner that other favorites such as Blues & Brews will also be a part of the resort’s summer offerings.

We’ve got our basic stuff that we have every year like mini-golf, scenic gondola rides, hiking and biking, 26-plus miles of trails to enjoy,” he said. “It should be a. pretty awesome summer.”

The release also laid out three dining experiences on the mountain that are returning or expanding this year, including:

  • “Mountain-Top Brunch: On Sundays, beginning June 21st, guests can take a scenic gondola ride to Needles Lodge, located 8,700 feet above sea level, for Snowbasin’s Mountain-Top Brunch experience, served from 10:00 to 2:30 p.m. The grand buffet spread features an array of premium dishes along with customizable options at the resort’s chef-operated stations. Seatings are available both inside and on the patio. Reservations are required and include access to Blues & Brews or SnowWiesn Oktoberfest, depending on the date.
  • Sunset Social: Snowbasin’s newest dining experience will return this summer every Thursday evening from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., beginning July 2. Sunset Social includes live music, a full bar with a custom cocktail menu, delicious pub-fare food and sunset views from the top of Snowbasin. The new Powered by Scott bike park will also be open during these events from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
  • NEW Cinnabar Dining: The resort’s popular winter après spot is opening for a new season this year. The Cinnabar will make its summer debut, bringing its signature atmosphere and focus on shared plates and handcrafted cocktails to guests, providing a new place to unwind after a day on the trails, bike park or one of Snowbasin’s signature events. The restaurant will offer an elevated gastropub menu and full-service bar, every weekend this summer from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.”

Roe said that the resort is no less exciting in the summer than it is in the winter.

“Ski resorts are known for what they do in the winter, but our summer operations are just as incredible and just as amazing,” he said. “We’ve got something for everybody, really.”
