Three more candidate forums set for Weber County municipalities in next two weeks

People vote at the Weber County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.The Weber County League of Women Voters are wrapping up a series of pre-primary election forums featuring local candidates.
In an email to the Standard-Examiner, the group announced three forums in Marriott-Slaterville, Harrisville and Pleasant View over the next couple of weeks.
According to the email, the following forums will be held:
- Marriott-Slaterville — Mayor — Tuesday – 6:30-8 p.m. at Marriott-Slaterville City Hall – 1570 W. 400 North
- Harrisville — City Council — Wednesday – July 30 – 6:30-8 p.m. at Harrisville Cabin – 725 West Harrisville Road
- Pleasant View — City Council — Thursday – July 31 – 6:30-8 p.m. at Pleasant View City Hall – 520 West Alberta
All of the forums will be live-streamed on the Weber County League of Women Voters Facebook page and can be reviewed afterward on the Facebook page.
