According to a press release from the Ogden City Police Department, around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Ogden City police officers responded to a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at 3300 and Washington Boulevard.

“There is one fatality as a result of the accident,” the release said. “The investigation is open and no further information will be released at this time.”

The release, which was received at around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, stated that officers were still on the scene as part of the investigation and that the road would be blocked for all lanes for at least a few more hours.
