OGDEN — Farmers Market Ogden is set to kick off its 2026 summer season this weekend.

Starting May 23 and repeating every Saturday for 17 weeks through Sept. 12, Farmers Market Ogden will run from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and span Historic 25th Street for three blocks from Washington Boulevard to Wall Avenue with over 200 featured vendors.

“Visitors can expect to see farm-fresh produce, artisanal breads and specialty foods, handmade goods, jewelry, and a diverse mix of prepared foods and cultural cuisines,” a press release from the Ogden Downtown Alliance heralded this week. “Produce offerings are expected to grow throughout the season as the summer harvest progresses. While several Utah farms experienced crop challenges this year due to unusual weather conditions and late spring freezes, Farmers Market Ogden remains committed to supporting local growers and encouraging the community to shop local throughout the season. Community organizations and nonprofits will also have the opportunity to connect with the public through weekly pop-up programming.

“Opening day will feature free community yoga at 9 a.m. powered by the GOAL Foundation, along with the Kids Curiosity Corner hosted by the Ogden Nature Center. Visitors can also participate in free hands-on art activities throughout the day, including a linocut demonstration led by 2026 Featured Artist Ashley Emmerson Moore and an Artist Factory workshop hosted by Ogden Contemporary Arts with artist Aimee Odum, where participants can create clay berry baskets.”

Additionally, live performers will be entertaining crowds throughout the Market’s run each Saturday this summer.

Jessica Anderson, marketing manager at the Ogden Downtown Alliance, told the Standard-Examiner on Wednesday that there will be a new addition to this year’s festivities.

“This year, we’re also welcoming Ogden Contemporary Arts to bring their free Artist Factory to Farmers Market,” she said. “It’s an all-day event where folks can participate in hands-on arts and crafts and experience art at the Market.”

With July 4 falling on a Saturday, she added that the Farmers Market will be leaning into the America250 celebration in a big way.

“We are super excited to celebrate July 4 and America’s 250th anniversary with some unique programming,” she said. “That day, we will be featuring themed buskers and main-stage music around Americana and bluegrass. We will also be having some programming from the Utah State University Exchange. They will be having some classes and instruction around farming and its history in America. We’ll also have some really unique tractors joining us for the day at America 250.”
