Take a virtual tour of Ogden’s haunted places and the ghost stories behind them

By Makenzie Koch/Standard-Examiner Staff - | Oct 31, 2016

OGDEN — At the heart of Halloween (besides the candy, of course) are ghosts and ghouls and other haunted things — and according to the city of Ogden, there’s no shortage of haunted spots throughout the city.

The city built an interactive map called ”Paranormal Ogden,” which will take you on a virtual tour of what are rumored to be Ogden’s spookiest sites and the ghost stories behind them. It also includes an option to submit your own local ghost story.

Some of the ghostly grounds included are the Ogden Exchange Building, the North Ogden Divide and Union Station, among others.

If you interested in reading more local ghost stories, check out this column by Mark Saal, where he shares a few friends’ paranormal experiences.

Check out the map here — and if you have a paranormal story you’d like to share, do it in the comments below.

Starting at $4.32/week.
