Weber School Board District 2 race close after initial results

With the first set of ballots counted Tuesday evening, Burrell (2,752 votes — 50.43%) held less than a 50-vote advantage over Kennedy (2,705 votes — 49.57%).
While the other Weber School Board district candidates did not officially have opponents, District 3 candidate Katie Wahlquist (4,403 votes — 95.12%) did see a challenge of 226 write-in votes (4.88%).
