Standard-Examiner has small fire, thanks firefighters for quick response
No one wants to have to call the fire department, but it’s good to know they are there if needed. A small fire broke out at the Standard-Examiner building Monday morning. Within minutes, multiple crews were on the scene and the blaze was quickly extinguished. “We want to express our gratitude to our local firefighters,” said Jim Konig, publisher of the Standard-Examiner. “They showed up quickly and went to work to ensure both our employees and our building were protected.
