Another suspect charged in 2021 Ogden credit union robbery

Allison Bennett, 22, of Ogden, appeared in U.S. District Court on April 28 on a bank robbery charge for her alleged part in the robbery of America First Credit Union, 1979 Washington Blvd. The first suspect, Jesse Perea, 24, was charged in April 2021.
Details of the robbery and the arrests are not given in the related court documents. FBI spokeswoman Sandra Barker said Tuesday she did not know what relationship Perea and Bennett may have and she could not comment beyond what is in the court files.
U.S. Magistrate Dustin Pead ordered that both be detained pending trial. Bennett is held at the Salt Lake County Jail. Perea, who is serving Utah prison time after a probation violation, is held out of state.
