Firearm recovered after law enforcement call for public's help
ROY — A firearm tied to a Las Vegas homicide case was located over the weekend. The Ogden City Police Department announced Saturday evening in a press release that a plea from law enforcement to the public had paid off. "The handgun investigators were seeking has been located and recovered as of today," the release said. "A citizen in Roy contacted dispatch after locating the firearm, and the Roy Police Department responded and safely recovered it.
