The tournament plays out on a neutral site with seeds No. 1 and No. 2 earning a preferred first-round bye while playing a lower seed, then getting a day off, while seeds No. 3-6 also get a bye.
Idaho won the regular-season championship and the tournament’s No. 1 seed.
