Prep roundup: Ogden girls soccer tops Weber in OT; Box Elder now 4-0
PLEASANT VIEW — Ruth Larsen scored in extra time to lift Ogden High girls soccer to a 2-1 win at Weber in the Red Card Cancer game Thursday.
Bella Gray had a goal and an assist for Ogden (3-1) and Reagan Wilson added an assist.
Callie Price scored on an AJ Heap assist in the eighth minute for Weber (1-2).
BOX ELDER 11, GRANGER 0
BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder moved to 4-0 on the season with a nine-goal first half on the way to a shellacking of Granger.
Emma Nelson kept the clean sheet for the Bees. Sarena Mackley netted four goals. Kaydence Barber and Karli Anderson each scored a brace. Oakley Norman, Madi Thurgood and Halle Wright scored one goal apiece.
BONNEVILLE 2, RSL ACADEMY 0
WASHINGTON TERRACE — Sadie Beardall scored once in each half and Addison Stone kept the clean sheet as Bonneville blanked RSL Academy.
Beardall scored on a header off a corner kick in the 25th minute to get Bonneville (4-0) on the board. Beardall converted a penalty kick in the 58th minute.

SALT LAKE CITY — Madison Wangsgard kept a clean sheet as Morgan prevailed at Rowland Hall.
Lacie Poll and Caroline Owens each scored for Morgan (3-1). Ashlyn Noss had an assist.

Jordyn Harvey paced Bountiful (1-0) with 19 kills and served three aces. Taylor Harvey added seven kills and four aces. Evalyn Chism tallied 28 assists, four kills and two aces.

SPANISH FORK — Northridge (0-1) was swept in its season opener at Maple Mountain. Scores were 25-13, 25-15, 25-9.

PLEASANT VIEW — Weber (1-0) swept Bear River (0-1) by scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.
REGION 1 MATCH
KAYSVILLE — Cole Taylor of Farmington High and Shawn Glover from Syracuse each shot a 66 to tie for first place in the Region 1 match at Davis Park.
Farmington’s team placed first with a 279. Layton High was second with 281. Fremont shot 290 for third and Davis took fourth with 294. Syracuse ended in fifth place with 296, Weber shot 307 and Clearfield posted a score of 324.
Max Landon from Davis shot a 68 for third individually. David Liechty (Layton), Jack Wadsworth (Fremont) and Emerson Cahoon (Farmington) each shot 69 to tie for fourth.
Layton teammates Spencer Poll and Davis Cox tied for seventh with a score of 70. Farmington’s Jack Summerhays placed ninth with a 71 and Austin Myers (Layton) shot 72 to finish in 10th place.
