OGDEN — Ben Lomond led 5-1 after four innings, then Ogden High softball plated two in the sixth and two in the seventh for a walk-off win, taking the rivalry contest 6-5 on Tuesday.

Arecely DeLeon hit a solo home run for Ogden (2-2, 1-0 Region 13). Five different Tigers had two hits apiece. Abby Thompson pitched a complete game for the win.

Dorothy Jenson batted 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs for Ben Lomond (1-8, 0-2). Victoria Jobe and Sophie Peterson each added two hits.

BOUNTIFUL 3, BONNEVILLE 2

BOUNTIFUL — Bonneville took a 2-0 lead after the top of the first, then Bountiful tied it in the fourth and scored one in the seventh for a walk-off win.

Frankie Galeana batted 2 for 3 for Bountiful (5-3, 1-0 Region 5). Shiloh Johnson and Claire Yates each hit a double. Eva Stoddard pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts.

Sara Clausse hit an RBI single for Bonneville (10-3, 0-1) and Emmaline DeGroot drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.

DAVIS 5, SYRACUSE 3

SYRACUSE — Davis plated five runs in the second inning in a region win at Syracuse.

Abby Olsen batted 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs for Davis (7-5, 1-3 Region 1). Alix Thaxton had two hits and Avery Kartchner hit a two-run triple.

Abby Reed hit 2 for 3 for Syracuse (4-8, 0-3). Jaidyn Franco hit a two-run single.

BOX ELDER 14, NORTHRIDGE 2

BRIGHAM CITY — Box Elder plated seven runners in the second inning to take control in a five-inning region win over Northridge.

Malena Benson hit a solo home run for Box Elder (8-4, 1-0 Region 5). Tegan Mecham batted 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs. Ashley Hammers pitched a complete game and drove in three on two hits.

Amaya Porter, Morgan Rich and Shae Stokes each had one hit for Northridge (5-3, 0-1).

LAYTON 11, CLEARFIELD 6

LAYTON — Layton scored five runs in the second inning to take control in a region win over Clearfield.

Tasia Shibuya batted 2 for 4 with an inside-the-park home run and three RBIs for Layton (5-3, 2-1 Region 1). Brenley Boydston went 4 for 4 with 2 RBIs. Joslyn Purcell pitched 5 2/3 innings with four strikeouts in the win.

Riley Rose batted 3 for 4 and drove in one for Clearfield (3-6, 1-3). Eli Salazar went 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Addie Cox had two hits.

VIEWMONT 7, WOODS CROSS 6

BOUNTIFUL — Viewmont scored two runs in the fourth inning to take a 7-5 lead in a region win over Woods Cross.

Viewmont (9-3, 1-0 Region 5) did not report stats.

Kenna Cowley batted 2 for 3 with an RBI for Woods Cross (6-6, 0-1). Libby Clark batted 2 for 4 with a double and drove in one.

BEAR RIVER 7, MOUNTAIN CREST 1

GARLAND — Kate Dahle pitched a complete-game one-hitter with 11 strikeouts as Bear River opened region play with a win over Mountain Crest (3-8, 0-1 Region 11).

Carlee Miller batted 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs for Bear River (6-2, 1-0). Dahle batted 2 for 4. Kynlei Nelson and Haylee Farnsworth each hit a double.

BOX ELDER 9, SOUTH SUMMIT 8

BRIGHAM CITY — Ashley Hammers hit 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Box Elder topped South Summit on Monday after trailing 6-2.

Sydney Stokes hit 2 for 4 and scored three runs, and Kamryn Peterson totaled two hits and two runs. Tegan Mecham got the win, giving up two runs in the final four innings.

PLAIN CITY — Fremont scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning to take a 5-1 lead in a region win over Layton.

Calvin Morrow hit three doubles and drove in four for Fremont (8-1, 4-0 Region 1). Bodee Goins hit a two-run triple and Cannon Koford batted 2 for 4 with a double.

Preston Brimhall drove in Manning with a single for Layton (4-6, 1-3) and Boston Holyoak also singled.

PLEASANT VIEW — Farmington scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning in a region win at Weber.

Luke Workman batted 3 for 5 with two home runs and five RBIs for Farmington (4-5, 1-3 Region 1). Kaden Willis tripled. Tucker Wall and Landon Tanner each hit a double.

Bode Larson batted 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs Weber (4-3, 0-1). Luke Erickson, Jake Lindsay and Ian Carver all doubled.

ROY — Roy gave up four runs in the top of the seventh inning in a region loss to Hunter (1-5, 1-0 Region 2).

Teyo Gill batted 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI for Roy (2-5, 0-1). Matt Porm added a double.

OGDEN — Gage Adams batted 3 for 4 with a double in a region win for Morgan.

Kaleb Olsen and Benjamin Harden each drove in one run. Adams pitched a complete game with 16 strikeouts in the win for Morgan (4-4, 2-2 Region 13).

Manuel Fraijo batted 2 for 3 with a double for Ben Lomond (1-9, 0-4). Angelo Gill doubled to drive in Cole VanBeekum.

KAYSVILLE — Davis led 3-2 after three innings, then Syracuse scored eight runs across the fifth and sixth innings in a region road win.

Tyler Mitchell batted 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs for Syracuse (2-8, 2-2 Region 1). Wyatt Humphrey hit a solo home run. Easton Hamblin drove in three. Jake Hopkins earned the win, striking out six in 6 2/3 innings.

Walker Jensen and Max Hunter each hit an RBI double for Davis (4-6, 2-2 Region 1).

CLEARFIELD — Clearfield gave up seven runs across the fourth and fifth innings in a home loss to Lone Peak (6-1).

MILLVILLE — Ridgeline scored four runs in the sixth to pull away from Northridge on Monday.

LAYTON — Guilherme Palacio kept a clean sheet and Layton Christian netted eight times in the first half in a region win over South Summit (0-6, 0-3 Region 13).
