Prep basketball roundup: Box Elder girls, Davis boys win on opposite coasts
ORLANDO, Fla. — Box Elder High girls basketball outscored Clarkston South (New York) 24-14 in the second half to break a halftime tie and win 45-35 Saturday in the Bees’ third win at the Orlando tournament.
Ashlyn Wight and Jaylee Chappell each scored nine points for Box Elder (5-2), with Wight hitting three 3-pointers. Kaydence Barber added eight points.

SUGAR CITY, Idaho — Ogden was held to one point in the first quarter and trailed 32-8 at the half in a loss to Grace (Idaho) to close out the Sugar-Salem Shootout on Saturday.

Ike Morgan led Davis (6-3) with 21 points on two 3-pointers, adding three rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Coleman Atwater added 18 points with five treys. Zach Fisher added seven points and six rebounds.

PRESTON, Idaho — Roy outscored Minco (Idaho) 12-5 in the third quarter to take control in a win Saturday at the Preston Indian tournament.
Bronson Belnap led Roy (3-4) with 16 points. Corben Schuffenhauer scored 11 points and Dahlen Pontius added 10.
