Farmington (13-1), outright winners of Region 1, is the No. 1 seed in the Class 6A bracket while Layton Christian (13-1), which won Region 10 outright, is No. 1 in 4A.

Box Elder (11-3) and Roy (11-3), who shared the Region 5 crown, were placed as seeds No. 6 and No. 7 in the 5A bracket, earning first-round byes.

Bracket seeding is determined by an RPI formula that factors winning percentage and strength of schedule.

All three classifications contest their championship matches Thursday, May 23, at America First Field in Sandy. Semifinals are at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman; 5A’s semifinals are Monday, May 20, with 6A and 4A playing semifinals on Tuesday, May 21. The first three rounds are contested at home sites.

In local head-to-head rematches, Fremont hosts Davis while Syracuse draws Weber at home.

6A PLAYOFFS

Of 19 teams in the bracket, 13 receive byes and seeds 14-19 contest first-round matches.
