No state-qualifying Trojan landed outside the top 10: junior duo Chloe Dutson and Rylee Telford, listed as the No. 4 seed in the second doubles bracket, earned first-round byes with senior-sophomore combo Devaney Barney and Syd Jensen listed as the No. 6 seed in first doubles.

Ogden junior Berlin Beasley, the No. 7 seed in third singles, and freshman Kimi Belnap, the No. 8 seed in second singles, each received first-round byes to begin their respective brackets. Senior-sophomore duo Ella Reeves and Evelyn Vanderschaaf, the No. 13 seed in second doubles, and senior-freshman combo Ashley Anderson and Ellery Malan, the No. 18 seed in first doubles, will contest first-round matches on Thursday, Oct. 9, at Brighton High School.

In the 5A bracket, Box Elder junior doubles duo Sophie Stokes and Annalee Nelson received both the highest seed (No. 8) and the lone first-round bye awarded to any Region 5 school. Fresh off their program’s first-ever region title, the Bees are booked for a handful of first-round matches against region opponents on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Brighton High School.

All subsequent 5A and 3A rounds will be contested Oct. 9-11 at the Liberty Park Tennis Center in Salt Lake City.
