PLEASANT VIEW — Layton scored six runs before Weber batted in a five-inning region road win Wednesday.

Nik Bielaczyc pitched a complete game with nine hits, four earned runs and two strikeouts, and batted 2 for 3 with a solo home run to lead Layton (9-4, 2-0 Region 1). Zane Morgan hit two doubles and drove in four. Will Hoffman, Tillman Thomas and Bridger Mascaro each hit a double.

Zac Howell batted 2 for 3 with a solo home run for Weber (2-11, 0-2). Sam Gerritsen and Rayce Stone each had two hits.

CLEARFIELD — Hank Campbell hit a grand slam to cap a six-run second inning and send Clearfield to a region win over Roy on Wednesday.
