The Standard-Examiner is proud to recognize Northern Utah high school athletes each week with our Standard Stars recipients.
Each week, the Standard sports staff recognizes male and female athletes for their weekly award based on their performance in the previous week’s games or events.
Standard Stars are not limited to team sports and are open to a wide array of extracurriculars and activities.

Year: Sophomore
Week in review: In Friday’s series finale with Weber, Prathan broke the single-season state record with her 11th triple. Prathan hit .692 average in the series while maintaining 6A-highs in runs (51), stolen bases (38) and on-base percentage (.650).

Sport: Baseball
Year: Senior
Week in review: Summers hit .500 in back-to-back playoff wins over Kearns with four total RBIs, two runs scored and a walkoff RBI single Saturday to clinch the first-round regional contest.
