LAYTON — Sammy Maudsley scored the game-winner on an Avery Johnson assist in the 48th minute to break a 2-2 halftime tie and lift Davis to a region win at Layton.

Lola Martineau and Kate Willard netted for Davis (9-1, 1-1 Region 1). Reial Phongsavath had one assist.
