Tooele (3-3, 1-2 Region 11) took a 6-0 lead midway through the first quarter.

Rigdon Vonk scored the first two touchdowns for Bear River (4-2, 2-1) on runs of 17 and 14 yards, the second tying the game at 13-13. Wilkinson scored on a 1-yard plunge with 59 seconds left in the first half. Tooele mounted a response and scored with 10 seconds left in the half, making it 20-20 at the break.

Wilkinson connected with Eli Braegger for a 19-yard touchdown and a 27-20 lead. After Tooele tied the game again, Wilkinson and Braegger connected for another 19-yard touchdown and a 34-27 lead. Tooele scored again with 8:07 left but the Bears blocked the extra point to preserve the lead.

Just more than 2 minute later, Glaiden Behrens caught a Wilkinson pass over the middle and took it 37 yards for a score, then Bennett Allen capped the scoring on a 9-yard run with 1:40 left.

LOGAN 18, OGDEN 17

OGDEN — Ogden lined up for the go-ahead field goal with 2:35 left but Logan blocked the kick and ran out the clock to defeat the Tigers on Homecoming night.

Ogden (3-3, 0-1 3A North) took its only lead of the night at 7-6 when Ryker Rice scored on a 9-yard run with 5:09 left in the first quarter.

Logan (4-2, 1-0) responded with two touchdowns but missed both extra points, and led 18-7 at the half.

With 11:56 left in the game, Blake Weston added a 3-yard touchdown run and Jack Thompson’s rush for a two-point conversion pulled Ogden to within three at 18-15.

Ogden blocked a Logan punt with 7:57 left, and the ball went out of the end zone for a safety and an 18-17 score.

AMERICAN FORK 29, DAVIS 21

KAYSVILLE — Davis took a 14-3 lead late in the first quarter but American Fork scored 24 consecutive points to take control.

Paden Toula threw touchdown passes of 27 and 30 yards to Bode Sparrow for Davis (3-3). Jaxton Itaaheau scored on an 8-yard run.

Toula completed 25 of 31 passes for 345 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Sam Coleman caught eight passes for 136 yards. Sparrow had six catches for 88 yards and two scores. Itaaehau led Davis in rushing with one carry for 8 yards and a touchdown. The Darts rushed 14 times for a net seven yards.

Sparrow and Cooper Rigby each had 11 tackles to lead the Darts. Porter Hunt had one interception.

RIGBY-ID 34, BOX ELDER 32

BRIGHAM CITY — Judd Howells and Kadyn Reyes each scored two rushing touchdowns for Box Elder in a home loss to Rigby (Idaho).

Howells scored for Box Elder (5-1) on a 2-yard run to tie the game at 7-7 late in the first. Tytan Hupp converted a 45-yard field goal with 32 seconds left in the first half and Rigby led 21-10.

At the 3:50 mark of the third quarter, Howells rumbled for an 11-yard touchdown, and a Reyes two-point conversion run made the score 21-18.

Reyes added a 27-yard rushing touchdown with 1:20 left in the third quarter and the Bees trailed 28-25. Reyes capped the scoring on a 1-yard dive with 1:45 left in the game.

MORGAN at UNION, PPD

ROOSEVELT — The kickoff of the Morgan (4-1, 0-0 3A North) at Union (2-2, 0-0) game was delayed nearly two hours due to lightning, then postponed after a second lightning delay with Morgan leading 7-0 at the 9:32 mark of the first quarter. The game was subsequently rescheduled to Saturday at 3 p.m.

Rhett Larsen scored on a 2-yard run with 9:46 left in the first quarter. After the kickoff, officials cleared the field, resulting in the postponement.
