For the fourth straight game, the Ogden Raptors were complete on the mound and in the batter’s box and the home team blasted the Idaho Falls Chukars 15-4 on Saturday night in front of 4,445 fans at Lindquist Field.

The four straight wins have come by an average margin of 8.5 runs and put Ogden (14-9) at the top of the South Division.

Pablo Arevalo got the win for the Raptors, allowing three runs on three hits while striking out five over six innings. Chris Monroe hit a two-run homer off Arevalo to briefly cut Ogden’s lead to 3-2.

Riley Ottesen threw the final three innings for Ogden, allowing one run on two hits.

The Raptors answered the Monroe homer with an eight-run fifth inning, which featured RBI doubles from Damian Henderson and Dakota Conners. Logan Williams doubled in two runs in the seventh and Cam Phelts hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot, in the eighth inning to close the scoring.

Phelts hit 4 for 6, driving in two and scoring three times, to lead the Raptors at the plate. Juan Teixeira hit 4 for 5 and scored four times. Conners drove in three runs.

Ogden outhit Idaho Falls 23-5.

The two teams finish the series at 2 p.m. Sunday.
