The South Ogden club took over the PGA undercard tour’s stop in Utah in 2025 and returns in 2026 for the second of what is originally planned as a three-year stint. This year’s four-day event is scheduled for July 30 through Aug. 2.
Tickets went on sale this week, the Utah Sports Commission says. Ticket options include daily and weekly grounds passes, tickets for the “fan deck” at the 15th green, and VIP hospitality at the “Intermountain Health Skybox” at the 18th green.
Active and retired military members receive free grounds admission with valid ID, the commission says. Grounds admissions begin at $10 per day or $25 for the week.
Tickets are available for purchase online at www.utahchampionship.com.
Volunteer registration is also open. The championship says volunteer spots provide a front-row spot to the week’s action. Volunteer positions include admissions, hospitality, attendants, security, transportation and walking scorers, among other roles.
Volunteers who sign up for two or more shifts receive two weekly grounds passes for family or friends, meals, and a spot in a round of golf staged for volunteers in the fall, the tournament’s website says.
Registration for volunteers is available online at utahchampionship.com/volunteer.
The 2026 Utah Championship marks the 35th anniversary of the event. The championship was played at Farmington’s Oakridge Country Club from 2017-24. Before that, it was played at Thanksgiving Point (Lehi), Willow Creek Country Club (Sandy) and Riverside Country Club (Provo).
Each season, the top 30 players on Korn Ferry Tour get their shot by advancing to the PGA Tour.
Ogden Golf & Country Club was founded in 1914 and is the oldest club in Utah still at its original location.
Julian Suri (New York) won the 2025 tournament.
Davis High alum Cole Ponich and Daniel Summerhays finished 22nd. Preston Summerhays finished ninth. Weber High alum Connor Howe was 37th among 78 players to make the cut. Ogden native Mitchell Schow finished 54th. Weber State alum Hayden Banz missed the cut.
