ESPN only needs to travel about 45 miles this week to stage its weekly college football pregame show.

A week after “College GameDay” set up shop in Provo for BYU’s top-10 showdown with Notre Dame, the crew is headed just a bit north to Salt Lake City. ESPN announced GameDay will originate from the campus of the University of Utah as the Utes are set to host Houston in a top-15 matchup.

It’s the seventh time Utah will host GameDay, the university says, dating back to the BYU-Utah game in 2004.

Hosted by Rece Davis, the show regularly features Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and Pat McAfee. The crew will set up on President’s Circle in the middle of campus, the university says, with more information to be announced through the week.

The longtime-running show that previews the full day of college football also invites a guest picker to predict 10 matchups happening that day. Saturday in Provo, Steve Young was BYU’s guest picker and went 10-0 in his predictions.

The show broadcasts live from 7-10 a.m. MDT.

No. 10 Utah is 6-0 this season and 3-0 in the Big 12, claiming a narrow road win at Colorado after largely handling opponents in the previous five wins. Houston (6-1, 3-1) is up to No. 14 in the current AP Top 25; the Cougars are on a four-game winning streak after losing by two points on the road to now-No. 8 Texas Tech.

The game itself is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. at Rice-Eccles Stadium and will air on ESPN.
