Weber State volleyball sweeps straight sets in Idaho-EWU road trip
Weber State volleyball took care of business in a road trip to Idaho and last-place Eastern Washington, winning six straight sets to take both matches in sweeps.
The Wildcats improve to 15-9 overall and 7-5 in the Big Sky, climbing back up the standings into a three-way tie for fourth place after starting the weekend in seventh. The wins marked the first road victories in Big Sky play for Weber State.
Opportunities abound as WSU returns to the friendly confines of Swenson Gym, hosting first-place Northern Arizona on Thursday and second-place Northern Colorado on Saturday.

Rose Moore tallied 14 kills and 11 digs, and Weber State swept Eastern Washington 25-20, 25-15, 25-23 on Saturday afternoon in Cheney, Washington.
Kaylie Ray added 10 kills while Ashley Gneiting pitched in nine kills, 17 digs and two blocks. Brielle Rueckert swung seven kills on a .545 clip. Morgan Pratt added 29 assists and Addison Eastwood had 12.

Weber State began the trip Thursday night in Moscow, Idaho, with a 25-18, 25-20, 25-18 sweep of the Vandals.
The Wildcats hit .225 to Idaho’s .057, limiting errors to 12. Ray led with 10 kills and Moore added eight. Gneiting and Moore each served two aces. Morgan Pratt pitched in 21 assists and Marly Pratt 17 digs.
