Weber State football players take the field before a game Sept. 20, 2025, at Stewart Stadium in Ogden. (ISAAC FISHER, Special to the Standard-Examiner)Weber State will host gameday promotions before, during and after home football games at Stewart Stadium in the 2026 season, the school announced.
That begins this week when the Wildcats (1-2) play their home opener, hosting Northwestern State at 6 p.m. Saturday in a game featuring discounted tickets.
In addition to the below promotions, games typically have pregame tailgate activities in the upper parking lot on the north side of the stadium.
Here’s a look at those promotions as fans gear up for their first look at the Wildcats under head coach Eric Kjar.
Sept. 19 vs. Northwestern State
This weekend’s home opener has $5 off all general admission and reserved sections with bleacher seats. WSU’s online ticket site shows those seats are $10 or $13 each. Fans are encouraged to wear all purple.
After the night kickoff (6 p.m.), a drone show will take place after the game.
Sept. 26 vs. Portland State
The first 500 fans will receive mini footballs from the school as Weber hosts the Vikings for a 6 p.m. kickoff. WSU is advertising a “blackout” game with fans and the team wearing all black.
Another postgame activity follows as fans who stay can watch the movie “How to Train Your Dragon” on the big screen.
Oct. 10 vs. Idaho
The first of four 1 p.m. kickoffs to finish the home schedule, WSU will host “military appreciation” when Idaho visits. All veterans and active duty military members get in free.
Oct. 17 vs. Idaho State
For homecoming, all Weber State alumni can get 50% off tickets with a promo code available through the alumni association.
Oct. 31 vs. UC Davis
It’s Halloween, so WSU is advertising a pregame trunk-or-treat activity and encourages fans to wear a costume or best Halloween gear. In this and all home games, WSU has a clear bag policy.
Nov. 21 vs. Utah Tech
No promos for the regular-season finale except a request from Weber State to pack the stands to send off the team’s seniors.
