Books for all: Initiatives launched to counter Utah public school book bans

OGDEN — Several books have been removed from school libraries across the state in recent years, but two groups are launching initiatives to see to it that youth across the state still have access to books. During last weekend's Ogden Pride Fest, two groups rolled out and promoted their initiatives — the Utah LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce had a booth promoting its Read Between the Bans program while Ogden Pride cut the ribbon on its Banned Wagon Mobile Library.
