History preserved: Weber County rehousing marriage records with state help

OGDEN — The Weber County Clerk/Auditor's Office is taking steps to preserve and provide access to marriage license records dating back to 1888 with financial support from the state of Utah. Since 2007, the Utah State Historical Records Advisory Board has awarded nearly a half-million dollars in grant funding to municipalities and cultural heritage organizations that undertake time-limited archival projects.
