My wife and I and probably millions of other people including Donald Trump’s niece, Mary, would certainly disagree with Mary A. Carter’s letter to the editor that ran in the September 16th edition of the Standard Examiner. We strongly believe that Donald Trump should and hopefully will face serious consequences regarding the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. The new book recently written by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa entitled “Peril” and for sale shortly leaves no doubt that Donald Trump is and has been dangerous for our country. We should all feel extremely thankful that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election and is no longer president.
