Letter: Regarding conversion therapy and church doctrine
Many thanks to Grant Protzman’s article of his rebuttal addressing conversion therapy in heaven. His words are very informative to those who are willing to listen. His words clearly explain the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I sincerely feel for individuals who have concerns pertaining to sexual issues and the practice of conversion therapy.
It is important for each of us to be compassionate and to try to understand different ideologies and beliefs claimed by others. Yet compassion and understanding do not inherently give way to absolute truth. Only God has absolute truth.
