Letter: Offended by use of family name for profit
I take offense to Ogden River Brewery’s post about commemorating Memorial Day with Becker’s Beer. Our family never gave them permission to brew Becker’s Beer. My father, Frederick Carruth Becker, was brewmaster at our brewery and was severely wounded during world war 2. All of his brothers served in the military and so did I.
I am sure I speak for all of the Becker family in denouncing this veiled marketing ploy to profit from our families military and brewing tradition.
