LAYTON — Erin Bailey netted twice to lead Layton High girls soccer past Syracuse 3-2 on Tuesday.

Ashley Wilson scored one goal for Layton (7-3, 5-1 Region 1). Hannah Roe assisted both Bailey scores.

Avery Sanders scored on a Dakota Merino assist in the first minute to give Syracuse (7-4, 4-2) an early lead. Cortney Cobabe netted on an Abby Schofield assist for the final result.

FARMINGTON — Whitney Avei scored in the ninth minute from a Bella Sackett assist to lead Farmington (4-5, 3-3 Region 1) to a shutout win over Weber (4-6, 1-5).

Emmy McKeon kept the clean sheet for Farmington.

SALT LAKE CITY — Samantha Medina and Essence Burrus each netted a brace and Sarah Clark scored one goal as Roy (6-4, 6-0 Region 2) stayed perfect in region play with a win at West (4-6, 3-3).

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Sadie Beardall scored on a Courtney Porter assist in the 34th minute and Alexia Stone kept a clean sheet as Bonneville (8-2, 4-0 Region 5) downed Box Elder (3-7, 0-4).

OGDEN — Jazzy Nolasco scored a brace, including the game-winner in extra time, as Ben Lomond opened region play with a win over Grantsville (3-4, 0-1 Region 13).

Avery Beadles and Autumn Rodriguez also netted for Ben Lomond (2-4, 1-0).
