SYRACUSE — Abby Affleck scored in the first period of extra time to give Syracuse High girls soccer a 4-3, sudden-death win over Clearfield on Thursday.

Cortney Cobabe scored twice for Syracuse (4-3, 1-1 Region 1) and Devyn Gailey scored once.

Cobabe, Ashytn Carlson, Abby Schofield and Kandelyn Brown assisted one goal each for the Titans. Syracuse led 2-0 and 3-1 in the game.

Cassidy Andrews, Eliza Erekson and Erin Cate scored for Clearfield (3-3, 0-2).

BONNEVILLE 3, SKYRIDGE 2

LEHI — Sadie Beardall scored a second-half goal to break a 2-2 tie and send Bonneville to a road win.

Beardall and Summer Diamond scored one goal each in the first half for Bonneville (6-0).

NORTHRIDGE def. MORGAN

MORGAN — Northridge beat Morgan 5-4 in penalty kicks after the teams tied 1-1 at the end of regulation.

Lacie Poll scored for Morgan (4-2), assisted by Kaydence Wardell.

ROY — Roy fell at home to Green Canyon 20-25, 20-25, 16-25.

Sierra Jones led Roy (1-1) with eight kills and four digs. Tess Terry had eight digs with three service aces.

DAVIS CLASSIC

Davis High swept all three of its matches for the second straight day at its home Davis Classic tournament. The Darts beat Farmington (25-15, 25-17, 25-22), Viewmont (25-18, 25-19, 25-18) and Cedar (25-20, 25-18, 25-20).

In the three matches, Aubrey Nielson hit 37 kills for Davis (6-0). Aimee Larsen had 101 assists and Loryn Helgesen totaled seven blocks and 27 kills.

Layton beat West in four sets (25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 25-19), then lost in four sets to Cedar (24-26, 25-21, 9-25, 23-25) and three sets to Viewmont (12-25, 17-25, 23-25).

Farmington beat Viewmont in four sets, 25-14, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19.

REGION 1 AT REMUDA

Layton’s David Liechty and Spencer Poll tied for first place in Thursday’s Region 1 golf match after shooting 5-under-par 67 at Remuda Golf Course in Farr West. Liechty finished in first place for the third time this season in four matches.

Fremont High shot 275 as a team to take first place with seven players finishing in the top 10. Farmington shot 280 for second place, followed by Layton (283), Syracuse (290), Davis (303), Weber (306) and Clearfield (307).

Individually, Gunner Melaney (Fremont) and Shawn Glover (Syracuse) shot 68 and tied for third.

Cole Taylor (Farmington), Kyle Tesch (Fremont), Kyson Christensen (Fremont), Emett Jones (Fremont) and Karson Tesch (Fremont) shot 69.

Luke Dalebout (Fremont), Chase Burton (Fremont), Ben Ackley (Farmington) and Luke Kelley (Farmington) shot 70 to round out the individual top 10.
