ROY — Roy High boys basketball ran out to a 32-14 lead after one quarter in a 76-51 home win Wednesday night over Ben Lomond.

Colby Frokjer led all scorers with 21 points and five 3-pointers for Roy (4-4). Bronson Belnap tallied 20 points, Corben Schuffenhauer added 14 points and Isaac Burnett scored 12.

Jake East led Ben Lomond (4-6) with 20 points on the same day he signed to play football at Idaho State. Christian Guerrero added 10 points.

DAVIS 48, CLEARFIELD 35

CLEARFIELD — Zach Fisher scored a game-high 17 points to lead Davis past Clearfield.

Tradon Bessinger added nine points, six rebounds and five assists for Davis (7-3).

Sam Droge led Clearfield (3-4) with eight points. Tayvian Singletary scored six points.

BEAR RIVER 61, BOX ELDER 47

BRIGHAM CITY — Kyver Jensen led all scorers with 26 points and two 3-pointers as Bear River won at cross-county rival Box Elder.

Gehrig Marble added 10 points for Bear River (9-1). Kash Avery and Kaser Thurgood each tallied eight points.

Trevor Wilkinson led Box Elder (0-8) with 11 points. Jorun Mason hit three 3-pointers for his nine points. Max Isaacson and Elijah Kersey each scored eight points.

BOUNTIFUL 55, FREMONT 53

BOUNTIFUL — Fremont led 33-32 at the half, then was outscored 23-20 in the second half in a loss at Bountiful.

Hunter Hansen led Fremont (6-4) with 19 points. Ryan Furgeson added 16 points and Tyler Allen scored eight.

Carson Smith led Bountiful (5-2) with 14 points. Bryson Heath added 13 points and two 3-pointers. Charlie Smith scored 11 points with three treys.

BRIGHAM CITY — ‬Box Elder ran out to an early 15-0 lead in a home win over Bear River.

Olivia Godfrey led all scorers with 17 points and three 3-pointers — all in the first half — for Box Elder (5-2). Ashlyn Wight added 15 points and three treys.

Aubree Fry and Tisdol each scored six points for Bear River (2-5).

CLEARFIELD 65, SKYLINE 47

SALT LAKE CITY — Xiyah Yarbrough scored 17 points and corralled 10 rebounds to lead Clearfield to a win at Skyline on Tuesday.

Amber Dankwa and Destini Gomez each added 12 points for Clearfield (7-0), with Gomez making two 3-pointers.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 50, MTN CREST 45

LAYTON — Asmin Tanhan scored 16 points with two 3-pointers to lead Layton Christian past Mountain Crest on Tuesday.

Jess McKain added 12 points for Layton Christian (6-7) and Ava Smith tallied 11 points.
