OGDEN — Ogden High volleyball swept Grantsville by scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-18 on Tuesday night.

Ella Tuttle led Ogden (10-5, 2-0 Region 13) with nine kills and three blocks. Paige Butler added six kills, six digs and three aces.

CLEARFIELD 3, ROY 0

CLEARFIELD — Clearfield (7-5, 1-3 Region 1) swept Roy 25-19, 25-15, 25-19 to win its first region game.

Kenzie Clark had seven kills for Roy (2-5, 0-4). Clearfield didn’t report stats.

SYRACUSE — Syracuse scored four goals in a 12-minute span in the second half to defeat Fremont.

Abby Affleck totaled two goals and one assist for Syracuse (6-5, 3-2 Region 1). Taylee Hughes added a goal and an assist. Talia Thompson and Maddie Hamblin each netted once while Indy Heap and Avery Sanders assisted one score apiece.

Mirabel Shellabarger netted for Fremont (2-9, 0-5).

LAYTON 4, WEBER 0

LAYTON — Savannah Putman kept a clean sheet as Layton blanked Weber (6-4, 2-3 Region 1).

Jersee Clapier tallied a goal and an assist for Layton (6-4, 3-2). Kristen Moss, Amelia Smith and Calli Holje each netted once. Kenadee Godderidge and Kaylie Wilson each had one assist.

BOX ELDER 4, WOODS CROSS 3 (2OT)

BRIGHAM CITY — Halle Wright scored a golden goal in the second period of extra time and added an assist as Box Elder downed Woods Cross.

Ashlyn Wight, Deserea Elegante and Oakley Norman also netted for Box Elder (8-4, 7-3 Region 5). Kamri Anderson and Kaydence Barber each tallied one assist.

BEN LOMOND 8, SOUTH SUMMIT 0

OGDEN — Alex Chadwick scored four goals, Dory Jenson kept a clean sheet and Ben Lomond scored six times in the first half to blank South Summit by mercy rule.

Raina Hoaglin tallied two goals and one assist for Ben Lomond (3-5, 3-1 Region 13). Hadley Chadwick and Melanie Solis each added one goal and two assists. Kaylin Sanchez added one assist.

ST. JOSEPH 5, AMERICAN HERITAGE 0

OGDEN — Abigail Gough tallied a hat trick to lead St. Joseph to a shutout win over American Heritage.

Sofia Evans scored two goals with one assist for St. Joseph (3-4, 2-0 Region 17). Brooke Majewski and Ashley Fergus each tallied one assist. Cicily Flores had the shutout in goal with three saves.
